Tupiza, Bolivia

Hello Bolivia!!

I crossed from Quiaca, Argetina to Villazon, Bolivia.
It's the type of border where people try to cross running with stuff... The Germans were freaked out. (I thought that was funny!)
Once over, we walked a few streets up to the bus station and got one to Tupiza!

Shocking my body at 3400 at the border towns, I went back down to 3000m at Tupiza.

Tupiza is a cute town. It has a nice park and interesting market. It was my first encounter with drier baby llamas...

I ended up staying at the Torre Hotel, in their "dorm" that smelled like salami.
The town is easy to get around and it sells almost everything you need for the tour to the salt flats. At the corner of the street to our hotel was a store that had everything. I stocked up there.
My llama sweater:
I ended up taking another water too...

I tried going to Valle Hermoso II to exchange my books, but the lady inside was soooooo annoying trying to sell me tours and demanding 10bolivianos instead of 5, for an exchange that I got so annoyed and left!
