Potosi to Sucre

I like Potosi. Not exactly in the first few minutes I arrived at the old terminal (from Uyuni), because it looked kinda shitty, with majority of homes just built on a hill out of bricks... favela style... But as the Germans and I took the bus in, I realized the city is interesting.
Sadly I have no pictures of it.
It's one of the highest cities in the world at: 3984m. The population is young. Lots of fried chicken, jewelry stores, pharmacies and bookstores everywhere.
I liked the little alleys, on the ones on the way to Koala Den, you'd find teen couples making out in the dark corners. Also, the best French fries were sold at the corner, not only did my taste buds say so, but the crowd that gathers around the lady and her deep fryer!

Koala Den was an awesome hostel! Amazing breakfast, hot shower, heater in the room, tv room, computers, awesome lady that offers us whiskey for breakfast and is really sweet all the time... Everything was great...except for the cats. They were annoying and always wanting to enter the room!

Tips/Directions:
To leave Potosi and take any mini bus that's marked: "Nuevo Terminal" on the same street as the market and the "Casa de la Moneda" for 1.5bs.
It'll take long, and it'll seem as if you're going down to 0m above sea level...
When it pulls up infront of a ridiculous blue dome, you know you are at the new terminal. When you go in, stay on the top floor, turn right and buy a ticket to Sucre at "Trans Emperador". It's 20bs and three hours; no pee break! It seems like the bus is going down the hole way... Then you see trees, (yes, it's been so long since I've seen trees!) it passes a military base, then goes back up till Sucre's bus terminal where a 8bs taxi gets you into town.

Due to my personal problems of anxiety & panic, I didn't do the mine tour. Spending 2 hours under the earth doesnt seem like a fun time for me.
